Wauconda Bunny Hop

Registration Open for the 4th Annual Wauconda Bunny Hop!

Join the Friends of the Wauconda Area Library and Star Charities for the fourth annual Wauconda Bunny Hop on Saturday, April 4th! There is a 4mile timed run around Bangs Lake, a 2 mile fun run/walk around Cook Park and Main Street, and a Junior Bunny Hop for kids 10 & under.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Wauconda Area Library. Registration is available in person at the Wauconda Area Library, Bliss Wine & Gifts, and Bulldogs Grill in Wauconda. Or, one can register online at RaceRoster.com

The race begins at 9:00am on Saturday, April 4th at 9:00am. Pre race packet pick up will be on Friday 4/3 at Bliss Wine and Gifts and the day of the race starting at 7:30am.

Race Route

The 4 mile race will begin on Main Street at 9:00am in front of the Wauconda Area Library, traverse around Bangs Lake, and end on Main Street in Cook Park. The 2 mile fun run/walk will begin at the same location, and go around the path in Cook Park and through the neighboring area.

This year kids races have been added (under 10 years of age) approximately 10am.

Tents, refreshments and entertainment will be on the library grounds, with the awards ceremony at about 10:30am.
